Du kan efter avslutad examen söka medlemskap hos Svenska Sommelierföreningen (SSF) för att ta del av deras aktiviteter. Du har även en mycket god grund för att ta WSET steg 3-examen om du skulle önska att komplettera utbildningen på en internationell nivå. WSET Level 3 in Wines Online Course with The Good Wine Habit
The Good Wine Habit the official WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Approved Programme Provider in Sweden, offers Academy Online´s sommelier students the chance of studying online the WSET Level 3 in Wines qualification after completing their sommelier education.
The course is entirely in English and it is delivered through a 9-week online study programme, covering the same syllabus as the classroom course, but through a tutored and interactive online platform. You will be able to study with your peers under the guidance of a WSET dedicated educator, who can be contacted by the student any time for the duration of the scheduled course. During the course, you will be asked to share your learning experience with the rest of the group, to participate in weekly online activities and to post tasting notes in order to receive personalized feedback from your online educator. The tasting is, in fact, an essential part of studying for this course. The wines will not be provided, although you will be given guidance on the styles to taste each week, so that you will be able to purchase the wines yourself. During the online course, a 1-day tasting tutorial introducing the Level 3 tasting technique (SAT - Systematic Approach to Tasting) will be organized by The Good Wine Habit at one of its venues in Gothenburg. Details of dates and location will be given after you enroll into the course. Pre-booking is required.
In addition to the online course, The Good Wine Habit will provide students with exclusive additional live support from its WSET Certified Educator Tommasella Perniciaro, DipWSET, to enhance their online learning experience. This support includes:
-Live Zoom practice sessions focused on the tasting and the theory examination technique, receiving a written feedback from Tommasella;
-One Zoom session focused on questions and answers about the theory and tasting content of the course, to help you with the final preparation towards the exam.
After attending the course, you will sit the exam at one of The Good Wine Habit´s venues in Gothenburg. Successful students will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo on their business card and material.
